ST MICHAEL’S ORGANIST: Raymond has now left as our Organist, and after 35 years of loyal service, we would like to express our thanks with a farewell gift.   If anyone would like to make a donation towards a gift for Raymond, would they be good enough to donate in the box on the welcome desk or hand to either of the Churchwardens.  Hopefully Raymond will visit us on Sunday 25th September at our 'Songs of Praise' service when we can make a presentation to him.  

FUSION  - starts this evening, 7.15 - 8.30pm, 106 Fieldhouse Drive, Muxton. Anyone aged 14-18 is very welcome.

HISTORIC CHURCHES TRUST CALENDAR. We have an order form at the back of Church for Calendars for 2012 produced by Historic Churches Trust which has a picture of our Church for the month of June.   The calendar has been well accepted and costs £5.00p each with £1.00p going towards Church Funds for each Calendar ordered.  If you wish to place an order, please include your name and also the number of calendars you would like.  Fran now has calendars for any orders already taken and will need the money before the end of September.

FACULTY REQUEST: Mrs Peter Grigg has applied for a faculty for a Memorial Stone for her late Husband in the Cemetery.   A public notice and also a sketch of the proposed Memorial Stone are in the Porch way of Church and a public notice is also on the gates of the Cemetery.  The public notice and sketch will be on display from today until 11th September. If anyone has an objection to the Memorial, please put this in writing and hand to Frances Taylor - CHURCHWARDEN.

SERVICE LEADERS are due to meet this Tuesday 8pm at the Vicarage.

TIDDLYWINKS’ PRAISE begins the autumn term this Wednesday at 10am.  Our theme is ‘God gave us what we need’ and we will be looking at ‘holidays’.

LIFE GROUPS AT ST MICHAEL’S.  It is not too late to join a Life Group at St Michael’s.  We meet this Wednesday 8pm in church.  We encourage you to come along giving us a chance to get closer to God and to each other.  All very welcome.

SML PCC is due to meet next on Monday 19th September 7.30pm in church.

AFTER ALPHA GROUP: The new group with  after Alpha members will commence on Thursday 22nd September at St John’s beginning with coffee at 7.45pm.

TIDDLYWINKS & TREKKERS: Tiddlywinks is a group held during the service for under 5’s and is held in the Vestry most Sunday’s and Trekkers is also held most Sundays.

             (14 - 18 year olds) meet weekly at the home of James & Kathy Tagg. The meeting time is Sunday evenings 7.15 – 8.30pm during term time. We meet for Bible study, prayer and discussion. Call James & Kathy on 274632 for further info.

SUB:ZERO - cafe style youth club for school years 7-9 takes place at St John's church after school 4pm-6pm on Friday’s during term time. A chance for young people to meet with friends, relax and have fun & games such as pool & table tennis, we also have an Xbox Kinect & tuck shop.
